Writer/director Bob Giordano (The Odds, Gates of Flesh), a former screenwriting instructor at Watkins Film School, leads 'Breakdown' an intensive, nuts-and-bolts workshop on writing a feature film screenplay using Hollywood’s classic 8-sequence screenwriting method, a structure that is common to most successful feature film scripts today.
Learning to utilize this approach will not only make your storytelling more effective, but will help you develop and write your script in a more timely manner. It will also help you to critique other scripts and movies and better understand how they work and where they fall short.
This will be one of the in-person workshops held at Nashville Film Institute on Saturday, November 15.
Script-Com is sponsored by the Tennessee Screenwriting Association in partnership with Tennessee Entertainment Commission, Nashville Film Institute, and NECAT.
